THE DUALITY OF REALITY.

Reality is far too complex to be comprehended by any given mind. Religion is a mode of exaggeration draped in a veil of apocalyptic mystique to hide its deficiencies and it destroys our own self confidence, as it becomes a crutch. Regret of the past and fear of the future is the best recipe for depression. Both vice and virtue are required for success in life. Vice and virtue is also a relationship – a play between the pleasures and retribution, attachment and detachment vice should not be ignored for the sake of virtue alone and virtue should not be denounced for a life of vice. A man without vice, is like a dish without salt an unholy ghost wandering all over the place. Our visions are like maps that guide us through a tangle of bewildering complexities. Vice and virtue, have different visions and premises often implicit. These different premises are what provide consistency in our lives. Contributing to the well being of others is a summer of content and real path to progress and success. What has been deliberately termed as vice, may not be so, we confuse them with reality. Spirituality is training for death - how we deal with death is at least as important as how we deal with life. A twilit borderland of the mind, somewhere between fact and illusion - the haunt of great mystics, artists, poets and lunatics. It’s a spiritual paradox the desire for transcendence without transcendence to leave this world with dignity, grace and at peace with ourselves.
